Introducing the Unlined Penny Loafer, handmade in Italian Veggie tanned sheep leather. A naked skin with an oiled finish. It has been spray treated for light stain and water protection. The skin has a very special appearance, imperfections hailed as perfection.  Natural highs and lows and a feel like no other leather I have ever worn, like bubble gum, but in a good way. Stretchy, soft, supple, buttery leather.

This is a natural leather and will lightly mark and patina with wear. It will show wear and change with use. This is it's beauty. This leather feels soft in a way I don't have words for. Softer than you expect.

Inspired by the handsome lines of a 70’s Italian mens loafer with the understated soul of a slipper. This shoe is unlined for ultimate, soft flexibility. A leather sole is injected with anti slip rubber. This shoe fits softer and has a little more give than the standard lined penny loafer.

Lasted construction for a soft glove like fit. Handmade in Tuscany, in an old world family factory.

Our shoes are created on European lasts, which run a little smaller than US sizes.

Fits true to size. Half sizes should generally size up.

They generally do not stretch out too much, with wear they stretch slightly. I am a 8 1/2 / 9 and wear the 39.5 most comfortably.

If your size feels snug or "slightly too tight", I would recommend a 1/2 size up. If your shoe feels uncomfortable and your toes are hitting the edge, you could take a whole size up. If your shoe feels good, but maybe just slightly snug, it will give with wear a bit. If your shoe is slightly big feeling but your heel does not slip out.. the shoe will mold to your foot with wear.

You might want a different fit if you choose to wear your loafer with barefeet or thicker socks. Please note if you think you will want to wear thicker socks you should plan for a slightly looser fit than when barefoot.
